Brazil records 2,216 Covid deaths and has highest moving average in nine days (June 11)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has registered 2,216 deaths and 85,149 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data released Friday, June 11, by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).

With the new update, the country now has 484,235 deaths and 17,296,118 infected by the new coronavirus; data that make Brazil the second most affected country in the world in terms of deaths and the third in terms of cases, according to Johns Hopkins University.
