RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil registered 2,997 Covid deaths between yesterday and today, according to data released Wednesday by the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
As of today, 493,693 lives have been lost to the disease. The survey by Conass, which compiles data from the health secretariats of the 26 states and the Federal District, also showed that in the last 24 hours, 95,367 new cases of Covid-19 were registered. In total, Brazil has recorded 17,628,588 Covid cases since the beginning of the pandemic . . .
