Brazil Records 407 More Covid-19 Deaths, Nears 160,000 Total (October 31st)

A total of 159,800 people have died since the first record of the disease in February.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health confirmed another 407 deaths from complications caused by the novel coronavirus. The country totals 159,884 deaths caused by Covid-19 since the first case of the disease was recorded in the country in late February this year.

The figures are included in the Ministry of Health's daily update and were released early on Saturday evening, October 31st. The report is based on data submitted by the state Health Secretariats every 24 hours.
