RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil recorded 49,293 new cases of coronavirus and 1,383 new COVID-19 deaths, the Health Ministry said on Monday, March 22nd.
The number of new deaths has been steadily decreasing for the past three days from its highs between 2,600 and 2,800 from late last week and is currently at mid-2020 levels.
