RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil had 641 new Covid-19 deaths recorded in 24 hours, according to updated figures from the Ministry of Health released on Sunday, June 21st. With the addition of the new figures, the country reached a total of 50,617 deaths from the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Sunday's balance recorded 17,459 new cases of the disease, totaling 1,085,038 confirmed cases. The one million infections mark was passed on Friday, June 19th.
