Brazil records highest rolling average of daily new Covid cases since April 1 (June 20)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The country has 501,918 deaths and 17,926,393 cases, says the media consortium with data from state health secretariats. On average, there were more than 73,000 new diagnoses per day.

Having passed the sad mark of 500,000 victims of Covid, the country's situation is said to remain worrying before the numbers of the pandemic. On Sunday, June 20, Brazil recorded the highest rolling average of cases in more than two and a half months, indicating that the infection rate is again approaching the worst ever seen.
