RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil reported 1,893 new deaths from Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of deaths from the disease in the country to 515,985, the Health Ministry said.
There were also 64,903 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 18,513,305, the ministry added.
Brazil is the country with the second-highest number of deaths from the disease globally after the U.S. and ranks third in the number of cases, behind the U.S. and India.
