RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Brazil has recorded 2,724 new deaths due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data released on Thursday, March 18th, by the Ministry of Health.
The numbers do not include Rio Grande do Norte state, which did not update the data due to technical problems. The total number of deaths in the country due to the new coronavirus has reached 287,499.
In the last 24 hours, 86,982 new cases of Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total number iin the country to 11,780,820.
