Brazil Remains Global Leader in Covid-19 Cases and Deaths in 24 Hours (June 9th)

Using its Ministry of Health data, Brazil is very close to passing the United Kingdom and becoming the country in the world with the second-most deaths caused by Covid-19.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil was again the country that confirmed the most deaths by Covid-19 on Tuesday, June 9th, as well as the nation that recorded the most cases of the disease in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health's calculations.

According to the portfolio, there were 32,091 more cases and 1,272 deaths identified in the period. The data were updated at 6:45 PM on the Ministry of Health's website (covid.saude.gov.br) with the total numbers of the disease in Brazil (739,503 infections and 38,406 deaths . . .
