Brazil sees record 3,251 new COVID-19 deaths, health ministry says (March 23rd)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil registered a record 3,251 new COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday, March 23rd, the health ministry said.

The numbers were updated on Tuesday (23), by Conass (National Council of Health Secretaries) and, with this, the total number of deaths due to the disease reaches 298,676.

From yesterday to today, 82,493 new cases of the disease were registered, bringing the total number of notifications of the disease in the country to 12,130,019.
