RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Monday, October 12th, a national holiday, the Ministry of Health updated the Covid-19 case report in Brazil. With 201 new deaths recorded in 24 hours, the country totals 150,689 deaths from the disease. The cumulative number of infections since the start of the pandemic stands at 5,103,408.
Of the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic throughout the country, almost 4.5 million have recovered and another 457,000 are still undergoing treatment.
