Covid-19: Brazil Counts 104,000 Deaths, 3.16 Million Accumulated Cases (August 12th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has reached 104,201 deaths caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The data was released Wednesday, August 12th, at a press conference to announce the Ministry of Health's Epidemiological Bulletin. On Tuesday, the panel had counted 103,026. There are a further 3,454 deaths under investigation. There are 715,107 cases under follow-up.

On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health's system recorded 3,109,630 infections since the start of the pandemic. To date, 2,309,477 people have recovered from the disease.
