RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of deaths from the novel coronavirus pandemic has reached 157.9 Thousand. Between Monday and Tuesday, the Health Secretariats reported 549 deaths caused by the disease. On Monday the pandemic data system recorded 157,397 deaths caused by the disease. There are currently 2,379 deaths under investigation.
The number of cases of infections with the novel coronavirus since the start of the pandemic reached 5,439,641. In the past 24 hours, 29,787 new cases have been recorded.
