Covid-19: Brazil Counts 713 Deaths and 28,523 New Cases in 24 Hours (October 15th)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, Brazil has a cumulative 5,169,389 confirmed cases of the disease. Of this total, 89 percent of patients have recovered from the disease, 2.9 percent have died and 8.1 percent have recovered.

The data were released by the Ministry of Health on Thursday, October 15th.

Brazil recorded 713 deaths in 24 hours, bringing the total of deaths to 152,460. Another 2,360 deaths are under investigation. The number of positive Covid-19 diagnoses increased by 28,523 in 24 hours.
