Covid-19: Brazil Counts 756 Deaths and 34,091 Cases in Past 24 Hours (November 18th)
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In the last 24 hours Brazil recorded 756 more Covid-19 deaths and 34,091 new cases of the disease. The data are included in the Ministry of Health’s daily update released on Wednesday night, November 18th.
In total, the number of deaths as a consequence of the novel coronavirus pandemic has reached 167,455. There are 2,173 deaths under investigation.
The number of cumulative cases since the start of the pandemic has reached 5,945,849. According to the portfolio’s update, there are 388,531 patients in follow-up and 5,389,863 people have recovered from the disease.

States
The states with the highest number of deaths by Covid-19 are São Paulo (40,927), Rio de Janeiro (21,698), Minas Gerais (9,605), Ceará (9,461), and Pernambuco (8,873).
The states with the fewest deaths from the disease are Roraima and Acre (709), Amapá (783), Tocantins (1,411), and Rondônia (1,511).
