Covid-19: Brazil Records 1,054 New Deaths, 30,355 New Cases (August 21st)

The Ministry's update also reported 748,217 people in follow-up and a further 2,670,755 who have recovered.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the past 24 hours, Brazil recorded 1,054 Covid-19 deaths and 30,355 people infected by the novel coronavirus. The data were introduced in the Ministry of Health's daily report, released on Friday evening, August 21st.

As a result, the total number of deaths has reached 113,358. The result marked an increase of one percent over Thursday, when the panel reported 112,304 deaths.

Also according to the Ministry of Health's update, the cumulative confirmed cases reached 3,532,330. The sum represents an increase of 0.8 percent over Thursday . . .
