RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health's daily update, released yesterday, August 11th, shows that Brazil counts 3,109,630 confirmed Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Of this total, 103,026 have died (3.3 percent); 2,243,124 patients have recovered from the disease (72.1 percent); and 763,480 are under treatment (24.6 percent).
In the past 24 hours, 52,160 new confirmed cases and 1,274 deaths have been included in this statistic. Currently, 3,580 deaths are under investigation.
