RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of cases of people infected with the new coronavirus has risen to 15,359,397. In 24 hours, health authorities confirmed 76,692 new positive diagnoses of the disease.
According to the Ministry of Health bulletin released today (12), 1,007,146 people are in follow-up. The term is used for those infected with active cases of contamination by the new coronavirus.
The total number of deaths due to covid-19, meanwhile, rose to 428,034. Between yesterday and today, 2,494 new deaths were added to the new statistics.
