The calculation of rolling averages consists in the sum of all records for the past 7 days, divided by 7, thereby enabling a broad perspective of the current pandemic situation.

The current situation in Brazil is one of constant decrease in the rolling average of cases and deaths. The assessment is made by infectologists, who found a 15% variation in relation to the figures recorded 2 weeks ago as a turning point for the pandemic trend to change.

In the period, the rolling average of cases was 22.95% lower, while deaths fell by 21.67%, placing the country in a situation of decline in both indexes.

In the past 24 hours, Brazil recorded 65,163 new cases and 2,029 deaths from Covid-19. A total of 18,622,304 infections by the virus and 520,095 deaths nationwide have been registered since the pandemic began.
