Confirmed Deaths by Covid-19 in Brazil Near 30,000 (June 1st)

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Monday, Brazil confirmed a further 623 deaths from the disease caused by the coronavirus, and the total number of deaths stands at 29,937. The Ministry of Health's daily fatality figures are lower than last week's average, influenced by the fact that, over the weekend, many state and municipal authorities do not report their statistics to the federal ministry.
