Ecuador adds 1,011 cases of Covid-19 and accumulates 418,851 contagions

The province of Pichincha, whose capital is Quito, is the most affected by the pandemic, with 148,685 accumulated cases, which means 333 new infections compared to Saturday's record.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Ecuador added this Sunday 1,011 cases of Covid-19 and has accumulated 418,851 infections so far in the pandemic, whose first record in the country dates back to February 29 last year, informed the Ministry of Public Health.

The number of confirmed deaths from the SARS-CoV-2 virus increased 6 in the last 24 hours to reach 14,764 during the pandemic, in addition to 5,429 "probable deaths" with the disease, for a total of 20,193 deaths.
