PAHO warns about fake Covid vaccines in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The deputy director of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), Jarbas Barbosa, warned on Wednesday (21) about the supply of fake covid vaccines in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico, denouncing a "problem" for health and police authorities.

Asked about a report by The Wall Street Journal about the sale of fraudulent vaccines from the Pfizer lab in Mexico, Barbosa said, "Yes, we have received information from Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil that some doses have been offered on social networks."
