Peru Goverment Issues Decree for Purchase of ICU Kits

This urgency decree will be in force until the end of the health emergency.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Executive Branch has issued an Urgency Decree that establishes extraordinary measures —in economic and financial matters— to strengthen specialized health response systems and address the emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on the acquisition of at least 300 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) kits.

Urgency Decree No. 001-2021, published in the Official Gazette El Peruano, authorizes the Ministry of Health (Minsa) to acquire and deliver the equipment to improve the specialized hospital response capacity.
