RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The São Paulo government has accelerated the vaccination schedule against Covid-19 by 30 days and promised to immunize the entire adult population of the state by the end of September.
The announcement was made by Governor João Doria (PSDB) during a press conference early Sunday afternoon (13).
The São Paulo government did not explain what allowed the acceleration of the schedule, stating only that the change takes into account the next shipments of vaccine doses that the state will receive from the Ministry of Health: CoronaVac, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Janssen.
