She was told at the time that this was not necessary and that in one hour she could have the document with the result in hand once she paid 60,000 Chilean pesos.
The municipal authority announced legal action in addition to the Ministry of Health. “This is a serious crime against public health and we as the municipality of Las Condes are going to sue the clinic and the individual,” it noted.
Chile’s Minister of Health Enrique Paris also mentioned the case, assuring that what has happened in Las Condes “is very, very serious. It’s a very serious event, it’s deceiving people.
