RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - By Saturday, March 27, 17.52 million doses had been applied in Brazil, which corresponds to 6.3% of the population. In absolute numbers (volume compared to other countries), the country is in 5th position.
Furthermore, almost 2% of the population was fully immunized with two doses of the vaccine. Therefore, about 4 million Brazilians could already be fully protected against the disease, even though no immunizer guarantees 100% effectiveness against the coronavirus.
