Ecuadoreans Set Record as World’s Oldest Couple

Retired teachers Julio Mora Tapia, 110, and Waldramina Quinteros, 104, have been married for 79 years. There are longer marriages, but none among such elderly people, according to Guinness World Records.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Julio Mora ran away from his parents' home to secretly marry Waldramina Quinteros, on February 7th, 1941. Both families disapproved of the couple.
