Iggy Azalea became known worldwide in 2014 with the release of her first album, The New Classic, which took over the top of the Billboard Rap Chart, the first time for an international female artist.

From this album emerged the mega-hit Fancy, with the British singer Charli XCX. Another super hit was Black Widow, written by herself and Katy Perry and with the participation of Rita Ora.

While Fancy was still topping the Billboard Hot 100, Problem — Ariana Grande’s song with Iggy — reached the second position, and hit an all-time record in the charts, this time as the first artist since the Beatles to conquer the first two top positions simultaneously.

In 2017 she released the single Switch, with Brazilian performer Anitta.

The artist’s second album, In My Defense, was released on July 19th, 2019.
