New Patch Regenerates Diabetic Skin and Prevents Amputation

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Mexican scientists have developed a revolutionary patch that regenerates the skin of diabetics in less than a month and prevents amputation cases.

It was developed by experts from the Materials Research Institute (IIM) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and contains nanofibers that help to regenerate skin, which is affected by wounds that do not heal.
