RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Andrea Marques de Almeida, Petrobras' Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer, is the only Brazilian woman on the list of the world's 100 most powerful women. The executive is ranked 77th on the list published annually by Forbes.
The production engineer took over at Petrobras in March 2019, after over 15 years with mining giant Vale. The magazine points out that Marques de Almeida announced in December 2019 that Petrobras will increase its divestment portfolio. In total, the oil company intends to divest between US$20 billion and US$30 billion in five years.
