The rates for this type of trip have not been disclosed, but the company has assured that these will be lower than car trips.

There will be 20 electric-motor vehicles spread throughout the city running in restricted areas, which include the neighborhoods of Mata da Praia, Jardim da Penha, Santa Lúcia and Santa Helena.

Users may order the “tuk-tuk” through the regular Uber App and may also choose to pay by card through the App or directly in cash.

Drivers interested in operating the electric tricycles must visit the Uber Service Center in Vitória and register for any vacancies that may arise. For the moment, all vacancies are filled.

Uber has a partnership with ‘Movida’, where vehicles will be rented by drivers. A national driver’s license (CNH) type A or AB is required to drive a “tuk-tuk”.
