World Health Organization Removes Cannabidiol from Proscribed “Drugs” List

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The debate over whether cannabidiol should still be on the drug list has reached a new stage. The World Health Organization (W.H.O.), in its latest general review, has removed this substance from the 'drug' category.

The W.H.O. document released late last month recognizes that there are no reported cases of abuse or dependence of the substance known as CBD, and that it does not represent a danger to public health.
