RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A study conducted by the State Health Secretariat of Rio de Janeiro found an increase in the number of deaths of older people who took two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.mRNA vaccines are a new type of vaccine to protect against infectious diseases. To trigger an immune response, many vaccines put a weakened or inactivated germ into our bodies.
Without disclosing the statistical data, the secretariat found that deaths of older people with complete vaccination schedules increased in epidemiological week 22 (from May 30 to June 5, 2021).
