Carnival 2018 to Inject R$11.14 Billion Into Brazil’s Economy

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL – This year’s Carnival festivities, to take place from February 9th to 13th, is expected to inject over R$11.14 billion with a total of 10.69 million Brazilian travelers and 400,000 international tourists, according to the Ministry of Tourism.

If confirmed this year’s mega-party will register a growth of 0.75 percent in the number of tourists compared to the holiday in 2017.
