Car Sales in Brazil Rise 12.2 Percent

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Motor vehicle sales in Brazil climbed 12.2 percent year-on-year from January to April. According to figures made public by the National Federation of Motor Vehicle Distributors ( Fenabrave ) this Thursday, 1,244,151 units were sold year-to-date through April 2019.

The numbers include automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, and motorcycles. April saw 339,424 vehicles sold, up 9.08 percent from April 2018.
