The World Can’t Get Enough Brazilian Poultry

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the first six months of 2019 (H1), total Brazilian poultry exports were up by 11.4 percent, with 2.045 million tonnes shipped. In revenue, it was a 14.8 percent growth, to US$ 3.406 (R$ 12.75) billion.

"There was an increase in purchases from almost every large importer, generating a good export performance. The international context of high demand for meat is felt in several different markets," said president Francisco Turra of the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), according to the release.
