Police Seize Over Three Tons of Marijuana in Barueri, Greater São Paulo

State Police found drugs in a company in Barueri at dawn this Sunday, June 30th. The seized marijuana could amount to 4 tonnes. Four people have been arrested for drug trafficking.

SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL - The State Police (PM) seized 320 bags containing marijuana bars in the early hours of Sunday, June 30th, in Barueri, Greater São Paulo.

Each bag weighed between 10 kg and 20 kg. The seized drugs could total over four tons. Four men were arrested on suspicion of trafficking.

The marijuana bags were in five vehicles inside a company located on Rua João Ferreira de Camargo, in Jardim Mutinga, in Barueri.
