Car Accident Leaves Five Dead on “Yellow Line” Tollway in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A car with eight youths crashed into a wall in the North Zone of Rio in the early hours of Sunday, December 8th. Five died on the spot.

The accident occurred at approximately 6 AM at the Yellow Line's Exit 2. The group was returning from a party in Barra da Tijuca and heading for Méier, but crashed on Ramiro Magalhães Street.

The other three injured passengers were rushed to Hospital Salgado Filho, in Méier, and were discharged in the morning.
