RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Closed since mid-March, AquaRio is finalizing its preparations to reopen safely on August 15th. The required changes have been made so that visitors may be completely safe, respecting the social distancing measures the pandemic calls for.
Precautions are taken upon entering, which will be exclusively through Olympic Boulevard. There will be a screening point at the entrance for measuring body temperature and sanitizing footwear on mats. The wearing of masks during the stay is mandatory, but this does not in any way compromise the experience of enjoying marine life and the over five thousand animals . . .
