‘Blend BBQ Festival’ Happens Next Weekend at Jardim do Méier in Rio

Next weekend, on October 4th, 5th and 6th (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), the Praça Jardim do Méier, in the neighborhood by the same name, will inaugurate the Blend BBQ Festival, the largest open-air barbecue event in Rio's North Zone.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In addition to a few tons of various types of meat, visitors to the event will also be able to enjoy a variety of drinks and the best of rock, blues, and country music.

Chef Luis Felipe Carril, from Blend Steak Bar, a restaurant specialized in meat, has invited the country's main barbecue masters, such as Luã Tavares, Rio de Janeiro's representative in the Brazilian Pitmaster's Team, to command the meat stations.

Here, visitors can taste ribs roasted in a ground pit, rib-eye steak prepared in Argentine parrilla style, and  brisket made . . .
