Brazilian Police Arrest Wanted Drug Kingpin with Mansion and Yacht

According to investigators, André de Oliveira Macedo, known as André do Rap, was part of a criminal organization that uses the Port of Santos to send drugs to Europe. He was wanted by Interpol and named as one of the chiefs of the criminal faction First Command of the Capital (PCC).

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Police said they raided a beachfront mansion Sunday morning, successfully capturing a leader of one of Brazil's most prolific criminal organizations.

André de Oliveira Macedo, known as "Andre do rap," is one of the chief traffickers of the criminal organization PCC. Authorities arrested him in a gated community located in the city of Angra dos Reis near Rio de Janeiro. A police spokesperson said that they conducted the operation with the support of agents from the United States and Italy.
