Year-End Hotel Occupancy in Rio Has Reached 75 Percent

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Hotel occupancy in the state capital of Rio de Janeiro for the period between December 28th and January 1st, 2020 has so far averaged 75 percent, according to a survey released yesterday, December 3rd, by the Syndicate of Hotels of the City of Rio de Janeiro (Rio Hotels).

Regions such as the neighborhoods of Flamengo, Botafogo, Ipanema and Leblon already show a higher level of demand, 86 percent each. For Reveillon (New Year's Eve), however, some of the city's neighborhoods have an average of 95 to 97 percent occupancy in five-star hotels in . . .
