Sparkling Festival: Weekend Dedicated to Sparkling Wine in Rio de Janeiro
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – A weekend dedicated to sparkling wine, and to summer, is the promise of the Sparkling Festival, which takes place at ‘Marina da Glória‘ this weekend, on November 23rd and 24th.

There will be approximately 30 areas for Brazilian wineries and importers, some 350 labels, many good food options, and various cultural attractions.
In a shared winebar in the event’s open area, visitors will have more than 150 bottled labels available for purchase. Ask, buy, and have fun with one of the most beautiful views of the city – Guanabara Bay – while jazz and blues play in the background in a relaxed atmosphere.
There will be plenty of food to complement the wines: premium restaurants, food bikes and homemade producers with bread, cheeses and other delicacies.
And the cherry on top of the cake: open-air cinema curated by filmmaker Malu de Martino, screening films exclusively addressing the universe of sparkling wines and champagnes, of course.
The wineries which have already been confirmed are: Hiragami (Santa Catarina State), Cão Perdigueiro (Rio Grande do Sul State), Barokes Wine (Australia), Vale do Goethe (Santa Catarina State), Cuvée Sidoine (France), 1808 (Portugal), Vinicola iONIS (Italy), among others.
The event is open to the public for all attractions and gastronomy exhibitors. Admission is charged only for access to the restricted tasting area. Visitors are given a bracelet that entitles them to 3 hours of tasting the labels of the exhibiting wineries and receive an official crystal glass commemorating the event.
