The event will include business, beer, cultural programming, and Belgian cuisine. Within the program there will be a business meeting with the presence of Belgian Consul Jean-Paul Charlier and special participation of the gastronomy of the Belga Hotel & Brasserie, located in downtown Rio, that will offer a dinner with the most famous Belgian dishes.

To complete the evening’s schedule, there will be a DJ performance, live music with singer Luciane Dom, a gift drawing, and much more.

At the “à la carte” dinner, the attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich cuisine filled with flavors, with dishes such as Moules & Frites, famous mussels with French fries, which come in cast-iron casseroles served with special sauces (R$80/US$20).

Other highlights include a dish called Carbonade Flamande (meat cooked in Trappist Dubbel beer with spices), Kip Archiduc with fries (roasted chicken with fresh and flambé mushroom sauce), both for R$55.00.

A new feature will be the waffle (in Flemish wafel, in French gaufre), which consists of a dough of flour, milk, and eggs roasted on a gridded iron plate. Belgian waffles tend to be larger and softer. Generally, they are covered only with icing sugar, but these will come with special versions, starting at R$15,00.

And to go along with all this, a variety of Belgian-style handcrafted beer, such as Trappist Single, Witbier and Belgian Pale, among others.

Belgian beers are regarded as the best in the world and many brands are already internationally famous, known here as Delirium, but the prominence among Belgian beers is the famous Belgian Lambic, typical of the Lembeke region in Brussels, which is genuinely unique due to its spontaneous fermentation.
