RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Two people died in the morning of Tuesday, September 17th, in a fire in a three-story building located at 287 Ubiratã Street, in the district of Higienópolis, in the North zone of Rio de Janeiro.

The deceased are an adult and a baby. However, they have not yet been identified.
According to witnesses, the fire started in an apartment on the second floor of the building. The flames became intense and residents of the area used a ladder to try to help people.
