RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Four men died during a police operation in the community of Jacarezinho in the northern zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro this morning, September 16th.
In addition, three people were injured, according to the Military Police, among them a policeman who was hit by shrapnel.
According to the Municipal Health Department, the four men were already deceased when they arrived at the Salgado Filho Municipal Hospital. Of the victims who survived, a man is undergoing surgery and a woman is in stable condition.
The Military Police did not provide the names of the victims . . .
