RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Following a 4-month shutdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, bars, restaurants, and gyms in Rio are back in operation on Thursday, July 2nd, under a range of restrictions and the obligation to comply with several safety protocols established by the city government.
The reopening is part of Stage 3 of the flexibilization schedule planned by the city government.
Bars and restaurants
Establishments adapt to follow new regulations:
- Half capacity;
- Tables 2 meters apart;
- Preference is given to open areas;
- Self-service remains forbidden;
