RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Lagoa Christmas Tree is confirmed for this year, an event celebrated annually in Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro's South Zone. The companies in charge of organizing the event and Light - Rio's electric power concessionaire - made the announcement yesterday, November 14th.
As anticipated the event was only possible after settling a sponsorship agreement with Light. The inauguration is scheduled for December 14th.
The organizers expect approximately 200,000 visitors to see the floating Christmas tree this year. Dream Factory and Backstage are in charge of this year's project . . .
