Rio Mayoralty Poll: Paes Ahead with 30 Percent; Three Others Tied for Second

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The dispute for Rio de Janeiro City Hall has ex-Mayor Eduardo Paes (DEM) leading with 30 percent of voting intentions, and a technical tie for second place, according to the Datafolha poll released on Thursday, October 8th.

It was the first poll conducted by the institute in this election after the confirmation of candidacies and the first before the beginning of free election propaganda time on radio and TV, which starts this Friday, October 9th.
