RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Comprising five days dedicated to books and reading, Ler - Salão Carioca do Livro ("Reading - Rio Book Show") started yesterday, November 20th and will run until Sunday, November 24th, at the State Park Library and at Campo de Santana, in downtown Rio de Janeiro.
Both in the library and in Campo de Santana (a park next to the library), there will be several areas for reading experiences, writing workshops and round tables, as well as plays, exhibitions and musical performances.
Among the authors invited to this year's edition are Luis Fernando Veríssimo, Zuenir Ventura . . .
